Guisachan House is a historic Kelowna property that was originally constructed in 1891 as a summer home for the Earl and Countess of Aberdeen, and Lord Aberdeen later served as the Governor General of Canada from 1893-1896. The property and home was named after the family’s estate in Inverness-shire Scotland. The home is designed in the Indian colonial bungalow style and became the centerpiece of a 480-acre working ranch, the site of the first large-scale planting of hops and fruit trees in the Okanagan Valley.

Today, the Guisachan House property is a Kelowna city park, and it offers stunning gardens and charming interior spaces that are ideal for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. The lush gardens are the perfect backdrop for your outdoor wedding ceremony in the heart of Kelowna, and with the Okanagan’s beautiful weather, it is a popular choice for many of our brides.
